EnviroTech Group is the environmental engineering practice of Environmental Engineering Technology Group Limited, working from our HARBOUR CITY office at 6 Canton Road in Tsim Sha Tsui to design monitoring programmes, treatment systems and compliance pathways for clients across Hong Kong and the wider region.

Air Quality Monitoring Programmes

We site, install and operate ambient and stack air monitoring networks that measure particulates, nitrogen oxides, sulphur dioxide, carbon monoxide and volatile organic compounds. Sensor masts are calibrated against reference methods, and data is logged continuously so that dust nuisance claims, odour complaints and permit conditions can all be answered with evidence rather than opinion.

Water And Wastewater Treatment Design

Our process engineers design treatment trains for industrial effluent, construction site runoff, food processing wash water and municipal scale works. We size screens, balancing tanks, chemical dosing, biological reactors, clarification and polishing stages against the actual loading profile of the site rather than a generic template.

Designs are issued with mass balance calculations, hydraulic profiles, equipment schedules and commissioning test plans, so that the installed plant performs the way the drawing promised.

Noise And Vibration Studies

Construction, rail, road and mechanical plant all generate noise and vibration that can be measured, modelled and controlled. We run attended and unattended surveys, build prediction models for future operations, and design mitigation such as enclosures, barriers, resilient mounts and working hour controls.

Reports include octave band data, ground borne vibration levels, compliance verdicts against the applicable criteria and a practical mitigation schedule that contractors can actually build to.

Solid Waste Management Planning

We map waste arisings from source to final destination, quantify each stream, and design reduction, reuse, recycling and disposal routes that satisfy both the operator and the regulator. Construction and demolition material plans, chemical waste handling procedures and recycling targets are all part of the package.

How The Practice Works

Environmental work fails when it is treated as paperwork. It succeeds when it is treated as instrumentation. Our practice is built around four habits that keep projects defensible and clients informed.

Instrument First, Opinion Second

We deploy real sensors, take real samples and keep real logs. Whether the question concerns air, water, noise, vibration or waste, the answer is anchored to a measurement chain that can be audited by a third party. Where a monitoring programme feeds an assessment, we keep the raw records alongside the interpretation so that nothing is lost between the field and the report.

That chain also protects you. If a complaint arrives months later, the logged evidence is already in place and already traceable.

Design For The Operator, Not The Drawing

A treatment train or a waste plan only works if the people running it can keep it working. We involve operations staff early, size equipment for real peaks rather than average days, and write procedures in the language of the site. Commissioning support continues until the readings settle and the team is confident.

Where a design must change, we document the change, retest the affected stage and update the schedule so that the as-built condition matches the record.

Scoping And Site Walkover

We visit the site, identify sensitive receivers, review existing records and agree the questions the monitoring must answer. The output is a written scope with station positions, parameters, durations and reporting dates.

Instrument Deployment

Masts, samplers, dosimeters and loggers are installed and calibrated. Background readings are captured before any impact begins so that the baseline is genuine rather than assumed.

Monitoring And Quality Control

Data is collected, validated against field blanks and duplicate samples, and screened for instrument drift. Any exceedance triggers an early notification rather than waiting for the final report.

Assessment And Reporting

Results are assessed against the applicable criteria, interpreted in plain language, and issued with the full data appendix, method statement and limitations. Recommendations are ranked by cost and effectiveness.
